Plain language, no surprises. This page doubles as the written scope note for pilot engagements — we confirm these terms in writing before any visit.
One visit, one report
A pilot engagement is one half-day site visit, one written report, and one debrief conversation. Anything beyond that — follow-up visits, re-audits, further reports — is a separate engagement, agreed separately.
Observations, not certification
Our report contains professional observations and recommendations. It is not a compliance certification, an inspection against a statutory standard, or a pass/fail verdict — and it shouldn't be represented as one.
What sits outside scope
We don't carry out fire risk assessments, technical reviews of CCTV or alarm hardware, or anything that requires a specialist statutory assessor. Where we notice something in those areas, we'll say so and suggest the right specialist.
What your staff tell us stays unattributed
Interview comments are reported thematically, never attributed to a named individual. Staff aren't being tested — the procedure is — and we tell them so before any conversation starts.
Your findings stay confidential
The report is yours. We don't publish, reference, or discuss your building's findings publicly without your written approval.
The pilot exchange
Pilot audits run at a reduced rate. In return we ask for an honest testimonial once you've read the report, and permission to reference the engagement as a case study — and you approve the exact wording before anything appears publicly.
Pricing and booking
Pricing depends on the building's size and complexity, so we quote after a short call and confirm everything — price, date, and these terms — in writing before the visit. No payment is taken through this website.
