Lumen Assure was founded on hands-on front-of-house concierge experience in London buildings — not a security-hardware sales background. That difference is the point.

The background

Before Lumen Assure, our founder worked front-of-house concierge shifts through temporary agency placements across London buildings. Not observing the desk — staffing it: real handovers, real visitor queues, real 6am shift starts, and real moments of deciding whether to stop someone who walked in behind a resident.

That's a different vantage point from a security consultancy that arrives with hardware to sell. We know firsthand where front-of-house procedure breaks down, because we've been the person it broke down on.

What that means in practice

Procedure breaks under shift pressure
Not in the manual, and not in the training room — at the desk, when three things happen at once and the phone is ringing.
Cover shifts are where gaps open
A temp on their first shift gets a fob and a chair. What they don't get is told how this building verifies a visitor.
Challenging people is socially hard
Stopping someone who looks like they belong takes confidence that procedure has to build in — or it simply doesn't happen.
The written procedure isn't the real one
What the document says and what the desk does at 3am are usually two different procedures. We audit the gap between them.

Where we are, honestly

Lumen Assure is a new business. We hold no certifications or accreditations, and we won't claim any until we do. What we offer instead is an evidence-based method, real front-line experience, and a pilot programme that lets you judge the work before the track record exists.
